Field: Technology

Position & Organization: Founder/CEO TECH 2025 (Served Fresh Media)

What do you like about your work? Helping people (whether they be clients, members of our community, or our employees) to see the potential of the emerging technology and, even more than that, to see how they reshape their world and express ideas through new technology tools.

What do you not like about your work? I don’t like being underestimated, but who does? It’s par for the course, and it ultimately helps you to become stronger. But I have a particular distaste for being underestimated.

Do you have any advice for women who want to enter this field? Don’t allow other people to definine your dreams and don’t allow them to place limits on what you can do. And just as important, if not more so, don’t limit your own potential with soul-crushing self-doubt. A little self-doubt is okay and quite normal. But when it begins to keep you from taking big risks necessary to discover your strengths and path, you have to fix that right away or that type of thinking will fester. Be true to yourself.

What makes you hopeful for the future? When people come up to me at our events and say, “I want to do more. How can I do more?” They are inspired to push beyond the limits of their own fears and personal situations. That makes me hopeful.
