How did you get started in this field? Organised an Effective Altruism Global X conference, did some random jobs after graduating (consulting, policy research, translation), went to a CFAR workshop which changed my mind about the value of the long term future, started applying to existential risk orgs
What do you like about your work? Working with incredible people (really kind, really smart); getting to help people directly around me; interfacing with research which I think is really important
What do you not like about your work? Pressure; hard to get good feedback loops
What makes you hopeful for the future? That so many extremely able people are really trying to make it good
